<\/span><\/p>\n The “Ermita del Remei”<\/strong> is a hermitage located in the \u201cGlorieta valley\u201d<\/strong>, about three kilometers from the town of Alcover<\/strong> (Alt Camp). The Hermitage is a work of great importance, since it is even protected as a cultural asset of local interest.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Located 18 minutes<\/strong> by car from Tarragona and 1 hour<\/strong> from Barcelona, \u200b\u200bAlcover and its hermitage are perfect locations to go on an excursion, since they will make you relax and spend a quiet and fun day.<\/span><\/p>\n If you want to spend a day of disconnection and then sleep in the area, you cannot miss F\u00e8lix Hotel<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.14.4″ text_font_size=”15px” background_size=”initial” background_position=”top_left” background_repeat=”repeat” min_height=”139px” custom_margin=”-25px|||||” custom_padding=”||2px|||” global_colors_info=”{}” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″]<\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n The origins of the hermitage are not clear, since there is no documentation that exactly dates the origins of it. Even so, it seems that originally there was a small chapel dedicated to Sant Antonio<\/strong>, where there was the image of the Virgen del Remei.<\/span><\/p>\n The current building was built in 1761<\/strong> by an agreement taken by the residents and the Alcover City Council. Elements of the previous construction, such as the bell<\/strong>, were used to create the current hermitage. On the fa\u00e7ade, we find a niche with the image of Sant Antonio<\/strong> and a molded octagonal rose window.<\/span><\/p>\n If we look closely, at the top we find the date of 1769<\/strong>, the date on which the Hermitage that we know today was still under construction. In a second upper relay, there is also the date of 1772<\/strong>, the date on which the work was finally finished, this date occupies a large part of the upper body of the facade.<\/span><\/p>\n If we look at the photograph, we see the interior of the hermitage. The interior of it is a nave with a single short section that corresponds to the heart.<\/strong> In this area there is an interesting wrought iron work<\/strong> on the vanes and the interior structure is not clearly reflected to the outside, but rather presents a continuous wall that defines a rectangular perimeter.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default” min_height=”743px” custom_padding=”0px|||||” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2,1_2″ _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default” min_height=”519px” custom_margin=”|auto|-243px|auto||” custom_padding=”0px||0px|||” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.14.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” hover_enabled=”0″ sticky_enabled=”0″]<\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n In addition to the Hermitage of Remei, if you visit Alcover, you cannot go without visiting the \u00abNiu de l’\u00c0liga\u00ab<\/a>,<\/strong> even so, if you want to bathe in it, we recommend doing it in summer, since the water is quite cold even in that season. This is an ideal place to go on an excursion and to disconnect surrounded by nature.<\/span><\/p>\n Nor can you miss the Alcover Museum<\/a><\/strong>, founded in 1967, the visit lasts approximately one hour.
